Indosat business in the field of Internet service providers, Indosat Mega Media (IndosatM2), launched a social networking site in the country with a shop selling music online called K-Music (Kongkoow Music). Mohammad Amin, Planning & Development Director of Indosat M2 want to make the social networking site Kongkoow becomes MySpace into his country.
"I hope this can be a Kongkoow his MySpace Indonesia," Amin said after the launch of FX Plaza, Sudirman, Jakarta, Friday afternoon, (28/11/2008). Amin also hoped that the Indonesian people do not always have to use the social networking site owned by overseas such as MySpace and Facebook. In Kongkoow site visitors can enjoy various kinds of entertainment, ranging from playing games online, upload photos, YouTube style service to make the blog. For K-Music, there are more than over 2000 songs from various types of music such as pop, jazz, rock, religious until "dangdut" was ready to download. In launching this, IM2 together 11 companies such as Trinity Optima Production, Sony BMG Music Indonesia, Prima Pelangi Sejati, the Ramayana Virgin Music, Musica Studio, Sani Sentosa Abadi, Aquarius Musikindo, EMI Indonesia, Indo Semar Sakti, E-Motion Entertainment and Warner Music Indonesia.
